    Author

    Theresa Larkin is a professor of the performing arts and a scholar in performance activism, with a dedicated expertise in developing a values-centric performance approach to grassroots activism, entitled Vismism.

    Dr. Larkin worked with Augusto Boal, a world-renowned international theatrical practitioner, for nearly a decade and became especially drawn towards his specific work conducted with the Brazilian government legislature that became known as Legislative Theatre.

    Animal activism is an expansion of her ongoing work in peace activism, natural approaches to the healing of cancer, and educational innovation.

    Her degrees include a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies from Claremont Graduate University (Grassroots Activism). She is currently finishing a second Ph.D. with European Graduate School in Saas Fee, Switzerland (Cancer and the Healing Arts).
